MANUAL RESEARCH PROJECT
Region:………..
Theme: Children’s Socio-Emotional Development
Sub-theme: Socialization
Topic: Developing social skills among students through team work at secondary school level
Socio-economic status:
Socio-economic status can be comprehensively characterized as a person’s and network’s entrance to money related, social, social, and human capital assets Most of students from this school are Govt. employee but some of them are shopkeeper or work in a private offices. Most of parents do not afford children education due to their family expenses and their low income but some parents support their children at higher level in well reputed universities. But due to the lack of higher educational institute and low income of their parents, more than 60% children stop their education after matriculation. Overall the financial status of this school is good.
Occupation & Earning Trend:
Parents with Govt. jobs and small businessman are in a better condition to help and support their children educationally, mentally and profoundly. However, Parents with low income because of expenses and low salaries issues can’t give satisfactory to up level their children education. The control of the Parents in this research from this school is normal. A part of the Parents are not monetarily so good. The children who Parents with government jobs are more verified and their family finds a sense of contentment moderately contrasted with the individuals who work in private association. They are consistently in dissatisfaction. Due to low earning trend of this school, the children face a great deal of difficulties both at home and school, which block them from taking an interest completely in classroom exercises. In present some parents drop their children at different shop for learning work and for earning but today due to free education in Pakistan more than 80% children go to school till then matriculation.

Literacy Rate:
Literacy Rate under 15 year age is 46.30% and above 15 year age 42.18%. Over the entire literacy rate is good in Lakki Marwat.
Q.1 Why did you select this specific sub-theme and topic? Relate it to your experience / problem in your classroom / institution.
Early 21st century marked the emergence and growth of social networking sites in the whole world. Since then these sites have become a major part of people’s lives, specially the lives of the youth. Many teenagers are using internet, especially Facebook, to build relationships, connect with the world, share and gain knowledge and information, build stronger personalities and have better social lives.
Children’s Socio-Emotional Development is the theme of this action research. Putting students in groups to simply “discuss” is a recipe for disaster. If students have to work toward producing something to turn in, present, or share with another group, they are less likely to linger in off-task conversations. Products should require all group members’ participation or contributions. This might involve a graffiti-like poster in the middle of the table on which everyone records ideas, or a graphic organizer that every student completes. If each student is doing his or her own version of the task, announce that you’ll be collecting one paper per group, to be revealed at the end of the activity. When time is up, use random criteria, such as “person in the group with the shortest hair” or “person with the birthday closest to the teacher’s” to determine whose paper it will be. Teamwork is an exciting subject. To study it is to learn all the skills needed to enter a long, illustrious and ongoing lesson tradition. Teamwork is used in many schools of our lives. And because student must effectively and efficiently convey meaningful information to each other, strong Teamwork is what keeps most of the world moving in the same general direction. Consequently, Teamwork is one of the most crucial aspects of the working world. And it’s needed to accomplish things, that’s for certain. Teamwork is something most professionals are required to do, whether they are employed in white- or blue-collar jobs.
Developing social skills among students through team work at secondary school level
In fact, it’s safe to say that because so many businesses and organizations require their employees to at least be somewhat competent in Teamwork, quite a few student are hired simply because their skill for Teamwork is better than that of another applicant. This is good for school graduates, who have been trained for four years – and sometimes longer – on how to learning in the professional world. To be employable, student must have two things, generally: experience and an array of practical skills. Teamwork just so happens to be a much-needed and highly valued skill in the working world – especially in the corporate field and private sectors – not just because most jobs require student to do it daily and weekly.
Q.2 What was your discussion with your colleague / friend / senior teacher or supervisor regarding the problem?
Teamwork is any activities that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, academic, or technical forms of literature, typically identified by an emphasis on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of poetry and poetics.
Discussion with supervisor:
My supervisor pointed out that in the academic setting, Teamwork is typically separated into fiction and poetry classes, with a focus on Teamwork in an original style, as opposed to imitating pre-existing genres such as crime or horror.
Discussion with teachers:
One of my teacher stated that Team work are often taught separately, but fit under the creative Teamwork category as well. Teamwork can technically be considered any Teamwork of original composition. In this sense, Teamwork is a more contemporary and process-oriented name for what has been traditionally called literature, including the variety of its genres.
Discussion with Friends:
My friend said me that the Socializations are typically available to learnings from the high school level all the way through graduate school/university and adult education. Traditionally these programs are associated with the Different content departments in the respective schools, but this notion has been challenged in recent time as more. Socializations have spun off into their own department. Teamwork children are encouraged to get involved in extracurricular Teamwork-based activities, such as publishing clubs, school-based literary magazines or newspapers,
I concluded that Teamwork contests, Teamwork colonies or conventions, and extended education classes to improve their Socialization through Teamwork.
Q.3 What did you find about the problem in the existing literature (books / articles /websites)?
Teamwork belongs to socialization rather than perceptive one. It produces a message to communicate. Spratt, Paleness, and Williams (2020: 26) state that Teamwork and learning belong to socialization. She said that learning and Teamwork, particularly, involve producing content rather than receiving it. It means that Teamwork and learning will produce an output as an indicator that children have learn both those skills. It is clearly that the output of learning skill can be oral conversation or drama. Meanwhile, the output of Teamwork skill can be written stories, letters, or other text types. Another linguist, Hyland (2019: 09), explains that Teamwork is a way to share personal meanings. The student construct their own views on topic. They will share their views on a topic to each other then. A person’s views may be different from other student’s views. It depends on their belief. Therefore, when constructing their views (ideas), the student have to make it understandable and acceptable.Brown (2019: 334) illustrates that Teamwork is like swimming. When student want to be able to swim, they must have like an instructor to show them basic ways or tricks to swim, although the instructor is only their parents or their friends (not professional instructors). After they get the basic ways to swim, they will develop based on their own style. The more chance they get to swim, the more perfect they will be.Teamwork is the last output after children learn separate acts continuously. Wallace (2019: 15) states that Teamwork is the final product after children learn several stages of Teamwork separately before. Those stages are note-taking, identifying a central idea, outlining, drafting, and editing. It means that Teamwork is a complex skill. It covers many sub skills that have to be passed before producing a good piece of Teamwork. Teamwork seems so complicated with its sub skills, but it is actually can be learn with fun. Wajnryb (1990) is credited with helping to develop a new way of Teamwork known as doctor less. Dictogloss is a relatively recent procedure in content teaching. In traditional Team work children recreate a dictated text word for word. However, dictogloss has different procedures and objectives. It combines Teamwork, paraphrase and interpretation. The concept is simple: learners listen to a passage, note down key Teamwork and then work together to create a reconstructed version of the text. In a dictogloss task, learners listen, learning and speak, relying on their knowledge of semantic, syntactic and discourse systems of the target content to complete the task with the focus remaining on grammatical competence. Different content is an international content which is widely used in many countries around the world. It is very important for children to master Different content in all skills. The skills are Listening, Learning, Reading, and Teamwork. Those skills are related to each other. In this case, I am going to focus on Teamwork skill. Teamwork is a content skill that is very important. Teamwork is among the most important skills that foreign content children need to develop. It is the last stage in learning content after listening, learning, and listening. In other Teamwork, I can say that Teamwork is an indicator whether children have gained all skills before or have not. Before the children have to learning, they should be able to listen, to speak, and to read. Teamwork skill differs from other skills like learning and listening. Brown (2019: 334) states that trends in teaching Teamwork of ESL and other foreign contents are integrated with teaching other skills, particularly listening and learning. Wajnryb recommends that learners should listen to the Teamwork twice and that both readings should be, as far as possible, identical. The text is read at natural speed with short pauses between each sentence. Children are told not to learning anything the first time, ‘but allow the Teamwork to wash over them’ (1990:8). This is to allow children to get an overall feel for the passage. On the second listening children should take down notes. At this stage the teacher should suggest that learners focus on noticing and recording key content or information.Teamwork is an integrative strategy that was originally used for second content learners. The purpose of Teamwork is to improve children’ knowledge of text structure and grammar & learning within an authentic context (Van Patten, Inclezan, Salazar, & Farley, 2020). As research indicates, effective Teamwork instruction focuses on grammar & learning and text structure within context of use (Bromley, 2019). In this instructional strategy, children listen to a model of narrative text structure and deconstruct it collaboratively before it is recreated. The collaborative nature of Teamwork allows all learners, but especially second content learners and striving readers, to examine an exemplary narrative passage and discover how the author created it. When children are explicitly instructed in the study of genres and their textual differences, the quality of their Teamwork improves (Calkins, 2019).
Q.4 What were the major variables / construct of your project? Give definitions /description from literature.
Teamwork:
Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a group to achieve a common goal or to complete a task in the most effective and efficient way. This concept is seen within the greater framework of a team, which is a group of interdependent individuals who work together towards a common goal.
Socialization:
Socialization is the process of internalizing the norms and ideologies of society. Socialization encompasses both learning and teaching and is thus “the means by which social and cultural continuity are attained”. Socialization is strongly connected to developmental psychology.

Q.5 What did you want to achieve in this research project?
Objective / purpose of the study:
The purpose of this action research will be that I focus on the process of Teamwork that is enjoyable and interesting for children. By conducting that kind of teaching and learning process, children would be stimulated to explore their Teamwork skill. They were also focused on constructing and generating ideas. It will be easier to learning if they have already had the basic idea. The research focused on the tenth grade children. The text type that would be used in this research was narrative text. The children would learn how to produce a narrative text by using activities technique. Some of them think that Teamwork is not important because it will not be tested in the national exam. They do not know that Teamwork is very important for their further education.
Objective of this research is that Developing Socialization through teamwork among Grade 7 Students.
Research Question:
This study aims to make an action plan for the socialization through Teamwork of elementary class children in Govt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat. Specifically it seeks to answer the following questions:
How we develop Socialization in the 7th Grade Students through Teamwork in Govt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat?
Q.6Who were the participants in your project?
In order to understand the complexities of many validities, researchers’ participation in and observation of the phenomenon should be the appropriate approach for more authentic understanding and explanation of the qualitative data. This study employed semi construction strategy to observe children’ reasoning skills and attitudes in response to discussion topics and their peers’ opinions. The targeted population were students present from elementary class of Govt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat. However, in this questionnaire, thirty-two (32)students, taking a related course, were selected in a Govt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat as a sample while considering the research control and validity of this study. This sample included students of the two major medium. These participants might generally represent the students in elementary class. The Socialization was developed on the basis of a series of research regarding Teamwork identification and improvement for elementary class children. This curriculum purported to enhance children’ Teamwork and depositions through speculating about academic learning and life issue discussion.
Q.7 How did you try to solve the problem?
Action research incorporates little scale deliberate request and contains various stages which every now and again endure in cycles. Like arranging, activity, perception and reflection. This sort of research has turned out to be step by step across the board everywhere throughout the world as a technique for expert learning.
Data Collection:
The term questionnaire is normally used on the other hand with audit. It is ordinary and straightforward strategy for data amassing, in actuality, look at. Moreover, it is snappiest, most affordable, private method for social affair data from respondents. The data was accumulated through efficient research gadget. So in such sort inspects, it is indispensable during progress of estimation gadget for quality data to recollect all points of view. Quantitative system was used to get critical and cautious information. Information was assembled through questionnaire including simply close completed request in regard to investigate goals. The close by completed overview was made for data gathering.
Sampling:
The entire group from which a sample is chosen is known as the population and we choose the students ofGovt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat. It was quite convenient for me, being a resident of District Lakki Marwat to accumulatequality data from chosen city and school. Sample is smaller representation of large data. Generally, it consists of all the observation that represents the whole population. The number of observation included in a sample is called size of sample. The teachers of Govt girls High School Bachkan Ahmadzai Lakki Marwat and their children were selected for this class based action research.
Ethical Consideration:
From the inception of this research I was extremely particular to carry out an ethical inquiry and therefore gave serious thought to all ethical aspects this study would entail. As teacher-researchers, my elementary class responsibility was to my children. An action research is considered ‘ethical’ if research design, interpretation and practical development produced by it have been negotiated with all parties directly concerned with the situation under research. Permission to conduct the study was first sought from the principal and school governing body. Permission was sought from school head. Permission was granted by the Education Department for this study to take place at the school where I was teaching. The rights of the participants were spelled out clearly i.e. they could refuse to be audio recorded and they could demand to see any notes or recordings.
Q.8 What kind of instrument was used to collect the data? How was the instrument developed?
Research Instrument:
Questionnaire schedule is referred to formal meeting between the respondent and the researcher. In this technique a number of questions were designed according to requirement and relevancy of me being conducted. The questionnaire was prepared to attain study objectives.
Checklist:
Following are the main points of the collected data after observation.
- Teachers filled the checklist according to their interest and competence level.
- Idid not seen about improvement of class environment charts on the wall.

Q.11 How do you feel about this practice? What have you learnt?
The investigation revolves around key thoughts, changes in the authority’sperspective on themselves and research that have been displayed and discussed all through the course. After thereview, examiners are gotten some data about what they have found that week. There are no misguided answers. The arrangement exercise is a valuable gadget to get contribution from overseer. It moreover empower understudies to use the Standard of Reflect and Evaluate. To the exclusion of everything else most of usnumb the unbalanced sentiments, anyway unknowingly when we do this investigation we can moreover end updesensitizing our various emotions like enjoyment, congruity, euphoria, and delight. We can’t totally have one without the other. The underlying advance is reliably caring, in light of the way that once we have care we can start to put everything in order. Care alone won’t empower us to stop using learning. Care at some point later is what I’m examining here. Starting anything new and endeavoring to make an affinity out of it requires some speculation. This is one explanation I appreciate researching and going to classes as it’s basically a booked time in the day, where I have the same interferences, to just be in my every day calendar and notice how I’m feeling. That being said I rarely make it to a class once every week these days, so I do need to find clear and energetic ways to deal with partner. Since consideration is connected to being accessible at the time and seeing all of these sations and sentiments in your mind and life, one thing you can do is ask yourself where in you’re mind you feel your emotions.
Q.12 What has it added to your professional skills as a teacher?
It added a lot of new skills in my teaching .It improved my way of teaching. This practice also improved my Teamwork too. I also learnt how to learning effectively and accurately.I have learnt how to deal in society .im become confident after this practice. Now I can speak at any forum.
- teachers could have a hard time without a wide variety of support staff around them. If you feel alone, your school principal, administrative staff, parent-teacher committee, and more are often available to provide you help. By working as a team, you may have an easier time increasing your children’ ability to learn and have fun.
- Sometimes to get the big reward, you may need to take a risk. Being a teacher is about finding a way to get kids to learn, and sometimes these new learning methods can be risky. Stick to it and you’ll soon find that others are following your teaching example.
- This is likely the single most important skill. Kids these days are stubborn, and many lack the inherent respect for authority that we were taught at a young age. Spending a single day in a room full of raucous teenagers is enough to send any human being to the Looney bin, which is why every good teacher needs patience in order to find a way to work with his children and earn their respect.
- Different kids learn in different ways, and some lessons need unique teaching tools. Good Teachers know how to adapt their lesson plan to their children, so that all the kids learn optimally. This trait can take some experience and practice in a classroom setting, so give it time.
- Whether you teach high school chemistry or kindergarten, nothing is a more effective tool than using your imagination to create new and interesting ways for your children to learn. You may be inspired by the work of another teacher, mentor or a TV commercial – it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you take the initiative to find new ways for your kids to learn the material.
